Opening of the Spirit Aerospace Innovation Centre

Spirit AeroSystems and SAERTEX enter a strategic collaboration in respect of research and technology in support of the open access Spirit Aerospace Innovation Centre for new technologies.

SAERTEX had the pleasure of attending the opening of the state-of-the-art Spirit AeroSystems Innovation Centre in Prestwick (Scotland) on September 2nd. Established as a centre of excellence for the research and development of advanced materials, digital manufacturing technologies and processes, the centre facilitates collaboration with industry and academic partners to innovate, train and develop skills for today and tomorrow.

We aim to further emphasise the strategic partnership in this project: Synergies will be identified and exploited to further demonstrate and develop our competencies and technologies in the aerospace sector. SAERTEX is proud to be a strategic partner in this project in the areas of research and technology. We are looking forward to contributing our know-how in the field of non-crimp fabrics to an even greater extent!
