JEC Award for the Nanotechnology Center of Composites (NCC) & Evopro Group
Buses designed using a modular concept and constructed of 100 percent composite materials. SAERTEX customer, the Nanotechnology Center of Composites (NCC) from Russia and project partner Evopro Group, received the JEC Innovation Award 2016 in the category “Urban Transportation”.
It’s not only the lightweight construction – facilitated by the glass fibre fabric manufactured by SAERTEX – that characterises the “fully composite” design. In contrast to steel or alu-minium, composite structures are also resistant to corrosion.
