REINFORCING THIS IDEA
The bodies of the entire 12 m length of the truck are manufactured in GRP. This partnership with the constructor has today driven to the project “team cabin”. The key of its success is the sandwich structure which helped develop bigger cabins for drivers, water tank, and combined accessories. Keen for improvements, Steiner and SAERTEX used SAERfoam® glass reinforced core to achieve better temperature resistance and increase efficiency together with cost saving
THE SUCCESS STORY
In summary, a positive conclusion can be drawn from the project as it has been proven possible to reduce the core cost after impregnation by almost 10% after using SAERfoam®.
