SAERTEX is expanding its product portfolio and is offering solutions for advanced thermoplastic composites. Thermoplastic composites offer unlimited shelf life, fast production, recyclability and reparability. They are tougher than comparable thermosets and are relatively insensitive to chemical attack. Thermoplastic composites will remelt and can be reshaped by reheating them above their processing temperature.

SAERTEX Thermoplastic Non-crimp Fabrics are commingled fabrics consist of fibers made of e-glass or carbon, and polymer fibers such as polypropylene or polyamide. These commingled fabrics are available as multiaxial and unidirectional fabrics. The standard area weights of SAERTEX commingled fabrics range from 600g/m2 to 1600g/m2. Lower and higher area weights are also possible depending on the fabric construction.
