SAERTEX AWARDED ÖKOPROFIT CERTIFICATE 2020
The SAERTEX® program of environmental management has been certified since 2009. We are continuously working on the sustainable optimization of our processes and products, both globally and locally. Therefore, we are pleased to announce that SAERTEX has again been awarded the “Ökoprofit-Betrieb” certificate.
We continuously work on our processes to get sustainable products and an environmental friendly company. For 2019, only with our plants in Saerbeck we have savings of more than 1000t of waste, about 170.000 kWh energy and over 100t CO2.
ÖKOPROFIT is a consultation and training program that helps companies to implement and improve environmental management in their operations. Areas of focus are reducing water consumption, energy consumption and waste and improving material efficiency.
